DCLM Daily Manna Friday 28 July 2023  TOPIC:  The Next Generation TEXT:  Judges 2:6-10 (KJV) 6 And when Joshua had let the people go, the children of Israel went every man unto his inheritance to possess the land. 7 And the people served the Lord all the days of Joshua, and all the days of the elders that outlived Joshua, who had seen all the great works of the Lord, that he did for Israel. 8 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of the Lord, died, being an hundred and ten years old. 9 And they buried him in the border of his inheritance in Timnathheres, in the mount of Ephraim, on the north side of the hill Gaash. 10 And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the Lord, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel. RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 28 July 2023  TOPIC:  God Seekers (II) MEMORISE But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.  Hebrews 11:6 READ: John 12:20-22 20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast: 21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus. 22 Philip cometh and telleth Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus. RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 28 July 2023 MESSAGE Yesterday, we discussed three ways we can seek God, namely – through His word, with all of our hearts and by obeying His will. Today, we shall continue to look at how we can seek God and the blessings that come to those who seek Him. We can effectively seek and find God by faith. Hebrews 11:6 says: But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God

Psalm 42:1 READ: Psalm 42:1-5 42 As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. 2 My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God? 3 My tears have been my meat day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is thy God? 4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday. 5 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance. Therefore, keep your body pure and undefiled. PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY Agenda of darkness to turn you against your Maker shall not stand nor prosper, in the name of Jesus. DCLM Daily Manna Thursday 27 July 2023 TOPIC: Faith That Works TEXT:  Luke 17:11-19 (KJV) KEY VERSE “And when he saw them, he said unto them, Go shew yourselves unto the priests. And it came to pass, that, as they went, they were cleansed.”  (Luke 17:14) DCLM Daily Manna Thursday 27 July 2023 MESSAGE In human relationships, trust is based on physical evidence. People must have something tangible to hold on to before they can believe and act on a promise or an order. When you transact a business and have made payment, you will require a receipt, which is your proof of payment and what assures you that the goods will be delivered. Your receipt is your faith in the dealer and if he fails to perform, you have something in hand to hold against him before the law. In the spiritual realm, faith works differently. The lepers had faith in Jesus’ ability to heal them of their disease. This was why they came to Him in the first place; but their unquestioning obedience to the words of Jesus

MFM Daily Devotional 26 July 2023 TOPIC: Deal With That Pride (II) MEMORY VERSE When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom. Proverbs 11:2 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES When pride knocks on your door, you need to answer with prayer. PROPHETIC WORD FOR TODAY Satanic agenda to enrol you in the school of self-destruction and downfall through pride shall fail woefully, in the name of Jesus. FIRE SCRIPTURE: James 4:6-10 PRAISE AND WORSHIP: Take praise and worship songs as led by the Holy Spirit BIBLE IN ONE YEAR: Psalms 134 – 135; Titus 3; Philemon 1 MFM Daily Devotional 26 July 2023 MESSAGE God hates pride and the proud. He draws the humble close to Himself. In fact, pride creates a vast distance between you and God. Pride is a manifestation of the natural and carnal traits in a man. A truly born-again and Spirit-filled Christian should not be found guilty of this vice. If truly you are for Christ, then you must necessarily possess a humble heart, the mind of Chri

DCLM Daily Manna Wednesday 26 July 2023 TOPIC: Offering Thanksgiving TEXT:  Exodus 15:1-11 (KJV) KEY VERSE “Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spake, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he hath triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider hath he thrown into the sea.”  (Exodus 15:1) DCLM Daily Manna Wednesday 26 July 2023 MESSAGE It is natural for one who has received great favours to return to show appreciation and express his gratitude. This appreciation can be demonstrated in various forms and ways but it must be seen to be commensurate to a large extent with the favour received. To fail to return thanks is to show that one does not appreciate the favour received. This attitude will, of course, block the possibility of receiving other favours from the giver. Moses and the children of Israel sang unto the Lord to show their appreciation for their miraculous deliverance from the Egyptian captivity. For more than 400 years, the children

James 4:6 MOTIVATIONAL QUOTES Pride produces ego that needs to be fed and before long you are locked up in your private prison of self-deception. DCLM Daily Manna Tuesday 25 July 2023  TOPIC:  Don’t Play God! TEXT:  Job 22:1-11 (KJV) KEY VERSE “Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said, Is not thy wickedness great? and thine iniquities infinite?”  (Job 2:1,5) DCLM Daily Manna Tuesday 25 July 2023 MESSAGE The danger of too much learning and knowledge not being moderated is that it can make one arrogant. It makes one assume every other person is wrong in their views and that you alone have the correct answers and solutions to every issue. He craves to be given attention, consulted and heard at all times. Such a person does not have regard for other persons and often feels he is above all. Eliphaz was not pleased with Job’s argument because he felt he knew better and had superior arguments that would convict Job of his guilt. He levelled some accusations that were so direct at Job as if he was an eyewitness. He assumed the role of God and, therefore, came into the scene as a self-appointed adjudicator. God would later reb

RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 25 July 2023  TOPIC:  Fear God (I) MEMORISE The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.  Proverbs 9:10 READ: Psalm 34:1-11 RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 25 July 2023 MESSAGE There is none greater in this house than I; neither hath he kept back anything from me but thee, because thou art his wife: how then can I do this great wickedness, and sin against God? Genesis 39:9 Today’s memory verse clearly establishes the need to fear the Lord if we would be wise and gain an understanding of life. The Lord asks: “A son honoureth his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father, where is mine honour?” (Malachi 1:6). How do we fear the Lord? Today’s Bible reading gives us ideas on how we fear the Most High God. One, we must magnify the Lord for who He is. It takes the appreciation of God to fear Him. The Psalmist says: O Lord our Lord, how excellent is thy name in all the earth! Who hast

We shall look more into this issue today. In the Old Testament, Jacob’s story readily comes to mind. He was a chest and a supplanter. DCLM Daily Manna Monday 24 July 2023 TOPIC:  Don’t Let Them Break You TEXT:  Psalm 119:149-160 (KJV) KEY VERSE “Many are my persecutors and mine enemies; yet do I not decline from thy testimonies.” (Psalm 119:157) DCLM Daily Manna Monday 24 July 2023 MESSAGE The strategy of the enemy during a conflict is to determine the opponent’s breaking point or weak point, target it and continue to hammer on it until he caves in and surrenders. This has been used in different forms and modes to bring down the resistance of an otherwise formidable enemy. King David, who himself was a war general and strategist, perfectly understood this approach employed by the enemy. He knew that the numerous enemies and traitors that confronted him had just one aim in mind: to break his resolve in God and bring him into defeat. It was for this reason that he made up his mind not to give up the confidence he had in God and in His word no matter the number of the enemies that antagonised him. READ RCCG Open

RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 24 July 2023  TOPIC:  God Still Speaks to His People (II) MEMORISE God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets. Hebrews 1:1 READ: Hebrews 1:1-2 RCCG Open Heaven Daily Devotional 24 July 2023 MESSAGE Yesterday, we started discussing the reality of God still speaking to His people, even to this present moment. In today’s text, we read that though God spoke to His people through His prophets, now He speaks through His Son, Jesus Christ. This is made possible through the Holy Spirit whom Jesus sent to the Church right from the day of Pentecost. He promised: But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. John 14:26 God still speaks to His people; no doubt about that. We must, however, pay close attention to the later part of the sentence – “to His people.”

Since he was a person of great wealth and influence, he demanded to be allowed to join the orchestra so that he could perform in front of the king. The conductor agreed to let him sit in the second row of the orchestra. Even though he could not read music, he was given a flute and when a concert would begin, he would raise his instrument, pucker his lips and move his fingers. He went through all the motions of playing but never made a sound. This deception went on for two years. Then one day, a new conductor took over the orchestra. Yet he gave tremendous amounts of money during his lifetime to Christian missions. When he died, his estate was worth about five million dollars, which he willed to missions. Arthington was determined to make that kind of self-denial the pattern for his life. From our text, a rich young man came to Jesus to ask what he must do to inherit eternal life. Jesus first gave him the basic requirements. He hastily concluded that he has met those conditions. Jesus knew what his problem was – his trust in riches. He then asked him to go sell all he h
